Description

First Cumberland Properties currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in Clarksville, TN. HVAC certification and knowledge is a must and apartment/ multi- housing property maintenance experience is required.

Property maintenance is also required to:

  • Complete grounds work and work orders as directed by Property Manager.
  • Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections.
  • Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Complete a variety of interior and exterior repairs including: basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, HVAC systems and appliances.
  • Responsible for reporting unusual or criminal occurrences on the property.
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call service as scheduled.
  • Must carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to walk, climb or balance and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasions, move more than 50 pounds.
  • HVAC certification required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Valid Driver's License, Previous Property Maintenance experience, HVAC certification preferred

Job Details

We offer 100% paid BCBS Medical benefits for the employee. We also pay 100% of short-term disability, long term disability, $25,000 life insurance with $25,000 AD&D. We pay 100% for a medical bridge program that pays $1500 for outpatient surgery and $3000 for a hospitalization. If you enroll in the HDHP medical coverage, we put $1200 annually into an HSA account for you to use on medical expenses. 401k and profit sharing is available to enroll after one year of service and we match your contributions up to 4% of your salary. We offer PTO after 60 days and we have 7 paid holidays.
