SAHMA VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: SAHMA volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We cannot achieve our goals alone. Your dedication and passion are critical to strengthening our programs and realizing our mission to inform, educate and connect the SAHMA community of affordable housing professionals. By getting involved with others, you’ll find a sense of community with your colleagues you can take back to your own organization.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: The amount of time you spend working with SAHMA is determined by you. Whether it’s limited or highly participatory, the skills and knowledge you’ll gain from the experience are invaluable and will serve you well in your career and beyond. Do you have a special skill to bring to our Volunteer Group? We want to know! Make sure you tell us about your experience and background, so we can find a Volunteer opportunity for you. SAHMA volunteers can help in a variety of ways for the State Conferences; help us plan the meeting agenda, serve as a committee coordinator, assist with registration or help blow up balloons, it’s up to you.
