Make Ready Maintenance
Learn how to address one of the most important roles that a maintenance technician has at an apartment community: getting an apartment ready for a new resident. This program reviews the role that a maintenance technician plays in inspecting and scheduling a vacant apartment through to completion. We'll also cover the role of the maintenance department regarding renewals.Topics Covered:

Safety on Site
This program provides a good introduction to OSHA and the regulations they have designed to keep the maintenance associate healthy.

- Chemical storage and use
- Moving heavy equipment properly
- Crime and security issues
- The need for and use of protective equipment
- Requirements for the lockout/tagout kit and its use
- Bloodborne pathogens and how to prevent infection
- Ladders and their use
- Natural safety issues

This event provides 6 hours of Continuing Education Credit. Your certificate will be available in your SAHMA web account after the event is completed.
