Description:
With summer vacation upon us, we often carry the weight of our resident’s wellbeing. Join our peer-to-peer discussion to share solutions for funding and/or coordinating activities. This is an interactive conversation for onsite personnel to share best practices.
Participants will be placed in breakout rooms to discuss these topics:
- Engage residents to volunteer
- For properties without resident organization, residents may still be eager to volunteer in getting donations for decorations, food, prizes, etc. Additionally, residents may create committees coordinate and fund activities and functions. Management could oversee scheduling and planning to avoid any possible property liability.
- Engage vendors
- Vendors are often willing to host an annual activity or provide prizes or party supplies.
- Local schools, churches, and non-profit organizations
- Could there be a local high school looking to help in the community for extra credit for students? Maybe a Boys and Girls Club looking for a do-good project.
*This peer to peer discussion will not be recorded, but there will be a takeaway provided to attendees with any notes from the discussion.
