There are more and more residents living with dementia in affordable housing. It is important to understand the role of the staff in addressing its effect on residents. We will demystify current perceptions as well as clarify and define what dementia really is. Also, we will share what individuals living with dementia are telling us about their lived experiences and what they need and expect from us. We will provide information on ways person-centered organizations are meeting the needs of this population.
