Description:
Professional boundaries are critical to success in working with older adults and colleagues in affordable housing communities. It is critical for ALL staff to stay in the zone of “being helpful and supportive” and not cross the line. We will share information on how to stay “in bounds.” This includes becoming aware of different kinds of boundaries and what you need to know about them. We will present information on how to set and preserve boundaries in order to develop and maintain meaningful relationships. Finally, we will discuss the role of confidentiality as it relates to boundaries.
