Description:
Webinar 1 of 3 of the It Really is ALL About Leadership: This is for YOU! webinar series (each webinar sold separately).
Now more than ever, all staff in Affordable Housing settings must be high performers.  Developing Emotional Intelligence skills is the answer. Emotional Intelligence (EI) is NOT a fad – it is here to stay. EI is twice as important as academic or technical knowledge for success at work. Evidence shows there is a direct link between EI and job performance. We will share firsthand examples of the power of increased staff EI in our unique housing arena.

Because Emotional Intelligence is a skill set, you can improve it!  You can use this understanding of emotions to relate better to other people, make better decisions, manage difficult situations and conversations as well as identify problems before they escalate.

Trainers: Walter Coffey & David Sprowl, WD International Consulting

It Really is ALL About Leadership: This is for YOU! Webinar Series (each webinar sold separately)
This series of three monthly webinars will prepare you for the everchanging landscape in Affordable Housing.  We will give you tools and strategies that will support you in better serving your residents and organization.

In the workforce today, all staff are expected to be effective leaders, no matter their title or job role.  This is especially true in Affordable Housing communities where there are fewer staff than in other senior living settings. There are more and more residents from different backgrounds and cultures.  Also, they exhibit more chronic diseases, mental health, and dementia issues, both diagnosed and undiagnosed.  Staff must be prepared to utilize effective leadership skills in order to address the needs of a more diverse resident population.
