SC Housing Compliance Monitoring Update - Physical Inspections

Update for Compliance Monitoring Physical Inspections

Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program/Tax Exempt Bond Programs:     
As announced in the January 19, 2021 eblast, SC Housing would resume on-site physical inspections after September 30, 2021.
 
Based on the increasing number of COVID cases and acting out of an abundance of caution to protect our staff, our partners, and the residents, all Compliance Monitoring on-site physical inspections for Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Tax Exempt Bond Programs will resume January 1, 2022. We will continue to perform desk reviews for the LIHTC and Tax Exempt Bond programs by auditing the most current resident eligibility documentation. Formal notifications will be provided to the Owners of developments selected for file review.
 
HOME Program
As announced in the December 22, 2020 eblast, SC Housing will resume on-site physical inspections after September 30, 2021, barring any further federal guidance released from the Department of Housing and Urban Development concerning the HOME program. Formal notifications will be provided to the Owners of developments selected for on-site physical review.
