In today's media release, CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, formally signed and released the extension to the federal Eviction Moratorium.

CDC Formally Extends the Federal Eviction Moratorium until March 31, 2021

In today's media release, CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, formally signed and released the extension to the federal Eviction Moratorium. The previous moratorium was scheduled to expire on January 31, 2021, and will now cover through March 31, 2021.  As we shared last week (per email below), President Biden directed an extension of this eviction moratorium on his first day in office, by an executive order. We were awaiting today's official CDC announcement, including some additional information:

The CDC Order (Extension)is scheduled to publish in the Federal Register on February 3rd .
