HUD Issues Notice of Funding Opportunity for Section 202 Housing for the Elderly Program

HUD's Office of Housing recently published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for FY 2020 Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly. HUD is providing approximately $ 150 million in funding through Capital Advance funding and project rental subsidies. Through this NOFO, HUD expects to make approximately 45 awards from the funds available. This funding opportunity, leveraged with other financing sources, will expand affordable housing opportunities and services for older adults while increasing the stock of new Section 202 homes. Please note that the deadline for submitting application is May 26, 2021.
