HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing recently published an update to their COVID-19 FAQs for Public Housing Agencies (previous update occurred on April 22, 2020). A portion of the questions on the Eviction Moratorium instituted under Section 4024 of the CARES Act have been updated with new guidance. This update includes questions on charging fees for unpaid utilities during the moratorium, how the eviction moratorium applies to LIHTC properties, guidance on repayment options for non-payment of rent, and the timeline for select RAD projects to submit financial statements.
