2019 Affordable Housing Advocate Award

The SAHMA Board of Directors, with the support of our membership, established the Affordable Housing Advocate Award to honor and recognize Legislators and other Industry Partners who have demonstrated great leadership, support, and commitment to affordable housing.
We are pleased to announce that Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL 25th) was honored with SAHMA's Affordable Housing Advocate Award on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency, Greenville, South Carolina. The award was personally presented to the Confressman's Legislative Director, Chris Sweet, at his office on Capitol Hill in October.
