RADBlast! Introducing the Curb Appeal Project
Today RAD is rolling-out their new Curb Appeal Project, which is designed to help PHAs address an overlooked area due to the large backlog of capital needs within the public housing program.
The attractiveness of a property as viewed from the street is important because it can lead to higher resident retention, improved resident upkeep and reduced crime. The hope is that these examples of PHAs that have demonstrated good practices of curb appeal might inform future RAD conversion planning activities and push improved outcomes across the nation. The following communities are featured in this initial launch:
• King County, WA
• Albany, GA
• Cambridge, MA
• Hagerstown, MD
• Lavonia, GA
• Baltimore, MD
