SUBJECT: Implementation of Public Housing Operating Fund Shortfall Funding from Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2024 Appropriations
1. PURPOSE
This notice implements a provision in the FFY 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act (Public Law 118-42), referred to hereafter as “the Act,” which provides a $25 million set-aside to assist Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) experiencing or at risk of financial shortfalls. This notice provides guidance regarding eligibility, the application process, and other requirements for participation in the program.
