NAHMA HUD Update: Notice of Funding Opportunity for Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Program
Today, HUD announced the availability of $5 million for the Thriving Communities Technical Assistance program. The Thriving Communities program will help strengthen local capacity to align transformational infrastructure projects funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with other crucial investments, such as affordable housing.
Today, HUD announced the availability of $5 million for the Thriving Communities Technical Assistance program. The Thriving Communities program will help strengthen local capacity to align transformational infrastructure projects funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with other crucial investments, such as affordable housing. Through this $5 million Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), HUD will fund technical assistance providers to work with jurisdictions across the country to consider housing needs and boost supply as part of their larger infrastructure plans. Once technical assistance providers are selected, HUD will begin the process for qualifying local governments to come forward and request assistance. To apply, click here.
