Participants in the NSPIRE Demonstration for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program are advised that HUD intends to extend the demonstration past the current end date of October 1, 2022.
Participants in the NSPIRE Demonstration for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program are advised that HUD intends to extend the demonstration past the current end date of October 1, 2022. This extension will be announced in the Federal Register, similar to the extension posted on June 8, 2022, "Notice of Continuation of Demonstration To Test Proposed New Method of Assessing the Physical Conditions of Voucher-Assisted Housing."
Through the notice, HUD plans to solicit additional PHAs to volunteer for the demonstration, especially those PHAs administering project-based vouchers (PBVs).
Thank you to all of the demonstration participants for continuing to work with HUD to test the NSPIRE standards and improve resident health and safety.
