HUD published its 2020 Difficult Development Areas (DDAs) and Qualified Census Tracts (QCTs), effective for allocations of credit or bonds issued after December 31, 2019.

Recently, the IRS released information regarding disaster relief for LIHTC properties impacted by California’s major wildfires, as well as October’s federal interest rates for LIHTC credits.

RHIIP Listserv Posting #429 - Published for Comment: HOTMA Proposed Rule

On September 17, 2019, the Department of Housing and Urban Development published a proposed rule for the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) of 2016. HUD is requesting comment on this proposed rule by November 18, 2019. Directions on the submission of comments are found in the Federal Register.

On January 1, 2019, the Multifamily Housing Service Coordinator (MFSC) program implemented the new Standards for Success (SfS) report. The new report replaced the Semi Annual Performance Report (Form 92456).
