Multifamily Housing Programs Stakeholder Help Desk Notification

The Multifamily Help Desk will once again be available for system users effective June 3, 2019.

TRACS Notification of System Release/Upgrade

Today, HUD announced a TRACS System Update. While the new release is being implemented, TRACS will be unavailable to users from 6:00 PM today - June 2 at 7:00 PM.

NAHMA HUD Update: CNA e-Tool Temporarily Unavailable During Scheduled Maintenance Starting Saturday, June 1st at 8 pm EST

The CNA e-Tool will not be available starting on Saturday, June 1st at 8 pm EST due to a maintenance update.  Services are scheduled to resume 24 hours later if not sooner. If you have any questions, please email CNAeTool@hud.gov.

Notice of Emergency Approval of an Information Collection: National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) Demonstration

Today, HUD posted in the Federal Register requesting approval for information collection regarding the proposed NSPIRE Demonstration. Comments are due by June 6, 2019.

REAC/Multifamily Industry Partners Day Meeting in Washington

On May 20, 2019, the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) held a joint REAC/Multifamily Industry Partners Day Meeting in Washington, DC. HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, along with senior staff, met with a large group of representatives from industry organizations who participated in the ongoing discussion regarding the future of Improving REAC Inspections and the REAC Protocol.

Guidance on How to Enforce a Zero for Refusal to Schedule an Inspection Based on 14-Day Guidance

Please click here to read the May 1, 2019 memorandum that provides guidance on what steps a field office must take when a project receives a score of zero because an owner and/or management agent defaulted on the contractual obligation to allow HUD to perform a physical inspection based on the new 14-day notification period.
