Memberships Requirements
Regular Members
Regular members are property owners or management company agents of privately-owned, privately-managed housing which is affordable to lower income Americans by virtue of government housing programs.
The applicant must have an approved management certification or contract in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico & the U.S. Virgin Islands, or approval by any of the other state or federal assisted housing agencies, in force and effect, at the time application for regular membership is made.
Regular members shall be entitled to vote on any matter submitted to the membership. Applications for membership are accepted upon approval of the Board.
Affiliate Member
Affiliate members are representatives of various housing associations affiliated with the affordable housing industry. Such membership shall hold all rights and privileges as regular membership except voting rights.
Associate Member
Associate members are representatives of housing-related firms which provide services and goods to our industry.
