ED SISSON LEADERSHIP AWARD

SAHMA established this award in honor of one of SAHMA's founding members, Ed Sisson. Mr. Sisson helped set the standards for superior performance in the management of affordable housing and dedicated his long property management career to improving residents' lives.

We wish to recognize the outstanding SAHMA member leaders among us. These individuals exemplify the same commitment and dedication to affordable property management that Mr. Sisson did during his wonderful career. SAHMA is pleased to honor exceptional leaders for their outstanding work in providing and improving the quality of affordable housing in the Southeast. Your nominee should possess strong leadership and management skills as well as dedication to professionalism. This leadership award is intended for employees other than site employees.

The winner of the annual Ed Sisson Leadership Award is recognized for outstanding accomplishments in the field of affordable housing management and receives a $1,000 prize.

To be eligible for consideration, nominees must:

• be employed by a SAHMA member in good standing,
• possess strong leadership and management skills,
• have demonstrated their commitment to our industry;

The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 8, 2012. Please note that this is a firm deadline. The award recipient will be selected by the SAHMA Award Committee based solely on the information derived from the application. The award will be presented at the SAHMA Regional Conference and Trade Show in Mobile, AL on August 20, 2012.

There is no fee associated with this nomination. Simply complete the application, attach a letter as outlined on the application and return to SAHMA by the deadline.
