NAHMA HUD Update: New CNA e-Tool Tutorials Now Available

Below, please find information from HUD regarding tutorials for the Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) e-Tool. Please note that the CNA e-Tool’s use for Rental Assistance Demonstration conversions and Mark to Market transactions; 10-year update capital needs assessments for FHA insured multifamily properties; and other asset management milestones will become mandatory starting February 1, 2018.

NAHMA HUD Update: HUD will withhold Section 8 for units without electricity in Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Today, HUD held a conference call to provide updates to industry stakeholders on recovery efforts from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, and the recent west coast wildfires.  HUD is on the ground and conducting damage assessments in Florida, Georgia, and will soon begin in Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands.
